We have just developed a new state-of-the-art website that we think our patients will truly love! The website is www.EastgateSmiles.com. We are also calling our practice Eastgate Smiles Dental Care, although it is still the same Dr. MacKnight's dental practice, of course. We have made a lot of exciting changes to help communicate better with our patients and give you many new convenient options. The website will now allow our patients to print out medical histories and patient registration forms at home to save time updating information for your next appointment. We will be providing a lot more detailed and interesting information on dental care, which you can browse anytime, as well as our quarterly newsletter. We are collecting and updating our patient's e-mail addresses so we can contact you to confirm your dental appointment by e-mail if we can't reach you by phone. Periodically, we'll be sending you various announcements and information by e-mail. You will also be able to apply for our CareCredit and American General financing plans in the privacy of your home. Our patients can e-mail us anytime 24/7 with dental insurance or billing questions, confirm your appointment, or ask dental related questions. We also are starting a Facebook social interaction site. You are welcome to sign on to it and join our "Facebook family".
On our new dental website you will be able to get monthly specials and discounts on dental treatments, as well as free reports and sign up for free newsletters by e-mail. You can write testimonials about our practice and we'll put them on our website, with or without your photo! If you prefer to be a celebrity super-star on our site, we can do a video testimonial right in our office! DON'T THROW AWAY $1000 IN DENTAL BENEFITS!
If you had a hole in your pocket, you'd want to fix it before you lost your wallet or your money, right? Surprisingly, however, many of our patients with dental insurance "lose" hundreds of dollars a year because they fail to use or maximize their insurance benefits before year's end (December 31st).
We just want to remind you that your dental insurance policy year is almost up. If you have any unfinished dental treatment or are overdue for a cleaning, it may be a good idea to have it done before December 31st, since most policies charge another deductible starting January 1st.
Also, since most policies have a $1000.00 limit per year, major treatment can usually be split up, some work put on the 2008 policy year and the balance done after January 1st, 2009, thus maximizing your insurance benefits.
Don't let this year go by without taking advantage of all of your dental benefits due to you. Once 2008 is over, the $1000.00 in benefits for that year is lost forever.
